The Costs

Firstly, the savings...

We have completed an intensive testing process, carried out over a period of 5 years, which has proven beyond doubt that the system will save clients over 20% in their fuel bills and it can provide a return on capital employed of over 33%, in a matter of months rather than years.

Our series of tests were run in various buildings including care homes, supermarkets and housing association flats/houses. We ran 11 independently monitored ‘day on, day off’ tests in London Borough of Camden’s residential block of flats we achieved an overall saving of 31.6%. Similar savings can be achieved in your organisation too.

Now the costs...

For some organisations the eco-eclipse is available to purchase through the Carbon Trust’s interest-free loan scheme, and as an Active Supplier to the Carbon Trust, we are authorised and equipped to take a direct, hands-on role in managing clients through the loan application.

The Carbon Trust classifies companies into 3 different sizes; large, medium and small. Interest free loans are available to medium and small sized companies but not the large companies.

The large companies are those which qualify for the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC). This means they have at least one half hourly electric meter and the company as a whole uses at least 6,000 megawatts of electricity per year (about £500K).

In addition to the above we also provide advice and assistance to enable the cost of the systems to be set against the savings in fuel.

“Since we installed over 130 eco-eclipse units into our properties we have saved well over £1million in fuel, and it has been a great success for us in helping us to understand and manage our energy requirements. E&ES have also provided us with a consistent after-sales service, helping our teams to get the most out of the system.”
