Who we work with
Businesses

eco-eclipseWe have a proven track record of reducing fuel costs within businesses from medium sized firms to large multi-million pound supermarket chains like Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Our systems are very easily installed within their buildings due to our remote wireless sensors and there is no wiring to be installed which would disrupt your business.

Specifically the eco-eclipse will help you by:

  • Saving money on fuel bills – typically between 20% and 40%
  • Providing readily accessible information about the performance of the heating systems including fault recognition - all of which reduces the number and cost of emergency calls outs and adds to efficiency and reduces your workload.
  • • The efficient retrofit installation of competitively priced systems into existing buildings.
  • Reducing carbon emissions and helping you to meet your increasing obligations to do so
  • Providing thermal disinfection and monitor cold water temperatures to assist in the management of the risk of legionnaire’s disease
  • Extending the life of your boilers by eliminating dry cycling and by providing load dependent sequencing and lead boiler rotation.

Case study – Sainsbury’s

We are currently working with Sainsbury’s to help implement energy saving solutions in their stores and have now been appointed as their approved supplier of boiler management systems.

Sainsbury’s successfully trialled the eco-eclipse boiler energy management system in two stores, prior to rolling out the system through its Store Improvement Programme.

The month long tests, authenticated by Sainsbury’s assigned managing contractor Energyexcel, achieved savings in excess of 50% in the London Colney store and of over 32% in the Muswell Hill store.

In addition to supplying energy savings to Sainsbury’s, E&ES will also be providing their remote fault reporting service and technical assessments of how the company can make further improvements in their heating and hot water systems.

“The trials that E&ES ran have proved that the eco-eclipse boiler management system will significantly reduce the levels of gas used to heat our stores. This is absolutely in keeping with our commitment to reduce our impact on the environment and become leaders in the UK for environmental innovation.

We have already been given the Carbon Trust Standard in recognition of our achievements in reducing carbon emissions from our supermarkets.  We have also committed to reducing our CO2 emissions per m2 by 25% by 2012 and so we are delighted that E&ES and the eco-eclipse are on board to help us achieve these targets.”
